Report: African economic growth to rebound to 4% in 2023 and consolidate at 4.3% in 2024 (AfDB)
In Africa, economic growth is set to rebound to 4% in 2023 and consolidate at 4.3% in 2024, says the African Economic Outlook 2023 report, published by the AfDB on the sidelines of the Bank’s 58th Annual Meetings, held in Sharm el-Sheikh.
« In North Africa, growth is expected to rise from 4.1% in 2022 to 4.6% in 2023, driven mainly by the economic recovery in Morocco, which will record growth of 3.4% in 2023-2024, » the report notes.
