Tunisia: FIPA signs a memorandum with the Economic Promotion Agency of Busan to strengthen foreign investment
A memorandum of understanding to strengthen foreign investment was signed between the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (FIPA-Tunisia) and the Economic Promotion Agency of Busan (South Korea) (BEPA), as part of the work of the second edition of the « Tunisia Korea Africa Business Forum.
The agreement aims to establish a practical framework for the development of business relations between the two parties and define the procedures for cooperation for the expansion of investment relations between Tunisia and Busan, strengthening institutional relations and capacity through mutual cooperation, said FIPA.
Currently, six Korean companies are installed in Tunisia, which have generated an investment amount of 83 million dinars and have created 2329 jobs.
Two other memoranda of understanding between Tunisia and Korea were also signed Tuesday at the Palace of Government at the Kasbah, as part of the work of the second edition of the « Tunisia Korea Africa Business Forum », held under the auspices of the Head of the Tunisian Government Najla Bouden and the Mayor of the city of Busan Park Heong Joon.
