What are the challenges for this 2nd edition?
“Label Guinée” aims to showcase the burgeoning activity of the industry, agriculture, gastronomy, mining, tourism, handicrafts, goods and services, fashion and culture sectors.
This year, the show intends to promote exchanges in the form of a « fair of ideas and services », with the aim of providing concrete answers to the various concerns of entrepreneurs. Namely: How to finance agricultural projects? How to access exports? What contributions of SMEs (small and medium enterprises) for the made in Guinea? How to create and register a company? How to concretize a project? How to market a product? Or how to absorb the opportunities of large projects, agricultural value chains and the made in Guinea?
Why Label Guinea ? and what are the objectives of the organizers?
Guinean authorities have made local production one of the pillars of the country’s economic development in recent years. From facilitating the creation of companies to massive investments in energy infrastructure, through the improvement of the business climate, many efforts have been made to unleash the Guinean potential.
There is an urgent need to rely on a sufficiently solid local productive fabric in a transition period, organizers believe. Thus, the NGO, “Comité 21 Guinée” and the sustainable development communication and consulting agency, Agilités, are given the task of honoring Guinean creativity through the exclusive promotion of the made in Guinea.
Promoting local production in the media and on social networks
The aim is to tempt more Guinean consumers and reduce dependence on imported products, by highlighting the country’s talent and know-how in all sectors.
But that’s not all. This annual event must also further mobilize the media and influencers, around the efforts made by local producers in their manufacturing process. The latter are called to promote to their public, the economic, social and environmental benefits of consuming local products and encourage a responsible and citizen consumption.
