Barclays Kenya officially launched operations as AbsaBank Kenya PLC on 10 February.
The bank says it has obtained all necessary shareholder and regulatory approvals for the brand and name change. The identity change is marked by a new visual identity, a new logo and a new brand, according to information relayed by Financial Afrik.
The rebranding operation comes a year and a half after the purchase of a majority stake in the bank’s parent company, Barclay Africa, by the Absa Group.
