Rwanda The central bank records a growth of 8.1% in 2020.
Rwanda’s economy will remain strong throughout 2020, with a projected gross domestic product (GDP) growth of 8.1%, the country’s central bank announced.
Rwanda’s real GDP grew by an average of 10.9% in the first three quarters of 2019, higher than the 8.3% recorded in the same period of 2018, declared the governor of the National Bank of Rwanda, John Rwangombwa, at a press conference in the Rwandan capital, Rwanda.
The briefing followed the bank’s quarterly meeting of the Monetary Policy Committee and the Financial Stability Committee.
