Tanger Med announces a record of containerized traffic in 2019, notably thanks to the entry into service of the Tanger Med II container terminal, inaugurated last June. In fact, the complex port platform recorded a volume of 4.8 million TEUs of containers handled last year, an increase of 38% year-on-year according to the Port Authority of Tanger Med (TMPA). Global traffic, for its part, has crossed the 65 million tonnes mark.
