The Egyptian government plans to install new solar power plants across the country, with a combined capacity of 500 MW. They will be built by the China Gezhouba Group, according to information relayed by Afrik 21. In doing so, Egypt is still getting closer to its overall objective which is to bring the share of renewable energy in the country’s energy mix to 42%. to 2035.
