Team Europe announced on March 30 in Abidjan a €1 billion investment program to support Côte d’Ivoire’s 2026-2030 National Development Plan, according to the European Commission. Presented by Myriam Ferran, the funding targets energy, education, agriculture and regional corridors. The national plan totals €175 billion, with 70.2% expected from the private sector, per official data.
The EU remains the country’s leading trade partner.
