Ethiopia and the African Development Bank reaffirmed their strategic partnership during a meeting between State Minister of Finance Semereta Sewasew and a delegation from the institution. According to official AfDB data, its active portfolio in Ethiopia includes 24 projects worth about $1.21 billion, mainly in energy, infrastructure, agriculture and private sector development. The talks focused on accelerating project implementation and supporting ongoing economic reforms.
