Côte d’Ivoire–South Africa : a new bilateral Chamber

On 27 February in Abidjan, business leaders launched a joint Chamber with support from South Africa’s Department of Trade, Industry and Competition and Export Credit Insurance Corporation of South Africa. According to Anselme Tegbo, trade rose from $65.9M in 1994 to $98.4M in 2025, with plans to scale up through SME missions and industrial partnerships under the African Continental Free Trade Area. An SME mission is scheduled for 25–29 May in Durban, hub of KwaZulu-Natal (16.5% of national GDP).
