Ethiopia : $70 million FX auction Scheduled by National Bank of Ethiopia 

The National Bank of Ethiopia has scheduled its 20th foreign exchange auction for March 3, 2026, offering $70 million to commercial banks. According to the central bank’s official notice, bids must be submitted between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., with results at 3:00 p.m. and same-day settlement. The bi-weekly facility supports price and external stability amid sustained FX demand pressures.
