Senegal : 1st Arab‑African Forum on Energy Financing and Investment June 4‑5, 2026 in Dakar
The 1st Arab‑African Forum for Energy Financing and Investment (AAFEF 2026) will be held June 4–5, 2026 in Dakar, Senegal, under the high patronage of President Bassirou Diomaye Diakhar Faye, with institutional support from the Ministry of Energy, Petroleum and Mines, and co‑organized by Africa Energy Investment Corporation (AEICORP) and AME Trade Ltd. The forum aims to connect Gulf capital with African energy resources and to facilitate sustainable investment across the hydrocarbons and energy value chain, fostering win‑win strategic partnerships amid growing interest from Gulf states in Africa’s energy sector. AAFEF will gather regional and international financial institutions, multilateral agencies, sovereign wealth funds, national and international energy companies, and governments to discuss financing solutions, explore investment opportunities, and define strategic mechanisms for energy revenue management and project support.
