EIB : €3.1bn invested in Africa in 2025

In 2025, the European Investment Bank (EIB), through EIB Global, invested €3.1bn (≈$3.4bn) in Africa, one-third of its non-EU financing, according to the data from its recently published annual report. Key projects include water security in Morocco, solar energy and private sector support in Egypt, rural electrification in Cameroon (1.6m beneficiaries), and HPV vaccination in Angola (2m girls).
