Morocco : $21.9 M invested in new fibre optic cable factory in Berrechid

FBR CABLES inaugurated a 15,000 m² factory in Berrechid on Feb 23, 2026, with 200 M MAD (≈ $21.9 M), doubling national output to 70,000 km/year and covering 60 % of demand. The project creates 165 jobs, strengthens industrial sovereignty, and positions Morocco as a regional export hub to Africa.
