Ghanaian startup Aya Data, active in data annotation and artificial intelligence solutions, has secured $900,000 in seed funding. Founded in 2021, the company plans to strengthen AyaGrow, its agricultural monitoring tool, and AyaSpeech, focused on speech recognition for African local languages. The funding will also support the recruitment and training of local data and AI professionals, as demand grows for Africa-focused AI applications.
