Tunisia : The Compagnie Tunisienne de Navigation unveils new RoPax project to boost Europe‑Tunisia ferry links

The Compagnie Tunisienne de Navigation (CTN) has announced plans for a new RoPax vessel to expand its existing fleet on regular maritime routes between Tunisia and Europe, particularly Marseille (France) and Genoa (Italy).
The initiative aims to modernize and increase capacity for ferries carrying passengers, vehicles and cargo across the Mediterranean, improving comfort and service reliability. With bookings already open through late September 2026 and anticipated high summer demand, the new ship is part of CTN’s strategy to strengthen tourism and economic exchanges with European partners.
CTN’s current fleet operates multiple weekly crossings, reinforcing logistical and cultural ties between Tunisia and Europe.
