The International Monetary Fund has upgraded its economic outlook for Guinea, raising its 2026 GDP growth forecast to 4.7%. The revision reflects more positive expectations for economic activity, supported in particular by productive sectors and public investment. The IMF nevertheless stresses the need to continue structural reforms to safeguard macroeconomic stability and strengthen resilience to external shocks.
