Morocco : AfDB approves €450M guarantee to help OCP raise €530M for its green investment plan

On 4 December 2025, the African Development Bank approved a €450M non-sovereign partial credit guarantee to support OCP in raising €530M for its 2023-2030 Green Investment Program. The initiative aims to boost low-carbon fertilizer production, renewable energy and sustainable water management, while reducing emissions and supporting jobs and climate resilience.
