On 8 December 2025, Lomé hosts the 9th Pan-African Congress at the Palais des Congrès, ten years after Accra. Organized with the African Union under the theme “Renewing Pan-Africanism and Africa’s role in reforming multilateral institutions,” the event brings together diplomats, academics, diaspora leaders, and Afro-descendants to discuss Africa’s future and historical reparations.
