Zimbabwe : $1.1 billion earned from 201.4 million kg of exported tobacco

Zimbabwe generated $1.1 billion between January and November from 201.4 million kg of semi-processed tobacco, according to the Tobacco Industry and Marketing Board. Asia remained the top buyer, followed by Africa and the Middle East. Tobacco continues to be the country’s leading agricultural export and key foreign-currency earner.
