A World Bank report released Monday shows that construction’s recovery in early 2025 offset manufacturing weakness. After last year’s strain caused by fiscal pressures, growth is now projected at 4.9 %. The Bank warns that high public debt, trade uncertainty and ongoing fiscal consolidation may restrain momentum, even as early signs of improvement emerge.
