On November 19, 2025, TotalEnergies signed an agreement with Conoil Producing Limited to increase its operated stake in the OPL257 block from 50 % to 90 %, with Conoil retaining 10 %. Located 150 km offshore, OPL257 hosts the Egina South discovery, planned for development via the FPSO Egina after appraisal drilling in 2026. This move strengthens TotalEnergies’ offshore strategy in Nigeria.
