Uganda’s planned $4 billion refinery has gained momentum following new commercial agreements with UAE-based Alpha MBM Investments, which will partner with the Uganda National Oil Company. Located in Hoima, the facility is designed to process 60,000 barrels per day and include storage and pipeline infrastructure, supporting Uganda’s shift away from fuel imports toward regional supply and industrial growth.
