Rwanda : TotalEnergies and DelAgua deliver clean cooking to 200,000 households

On November 13, 2025, TotalEnergies and DelAgua launched a project in Rwanda to distribute 200,000 improved cookstoves, benefiting over 800,000 rural residents. Aligned with Rwanda’s goal of universal clean cooking access by 2030, the initiative cuts smoke emissions by 81% and firewood use by 71%, generating VERRA-certified carbon credits to support TotalEnergies’ carbon neutrality.
