The African Development Bank (AfDB) has committed US$1.45 billion across 16 projects in Angola to drive economic diversification beyond oil. A flagship initiative, the US$125 million Crescer Project, aims to create 150,000 jobs, particularly for youth and women. The investment aligns with the AfDB’s strategy to promote resilience, industrialization, and inclusive growth in Southern Africa.
