Creation Africa Forum 2025 : setting sail for Lagos and cultural innovation
After a successful inaugural edition in Paris in 2023, the Creation Africa Forum returns from October 16 to 18, 2025, in Lagos, Nigeria. Three days dedicated to showcasing African cultural and creative industries, fostering co-productions, sharing knowledge, and amplifying emerging talents on the international stage.

The Creation Africa Forum was born from the belief that cultural and creative industries (CCIs) are a key driver of modern societies. It offers a unique platform for dialogue and experimentation, shaping the stories and economic models of tomorrow.
To become the reference event for CCIs in Africa and its diaspora
Following the success of the first edition in Paris in 2023, which brought together 323 African participants from 35 countries and 80 French companies, the Forum returns with renewed ambition: to become the reference event for CCIs in Africa and its diaspora.
Curated by MansA, the Forum highlights high-potential sectors such as immersive creation (XR, video games, augmented reality, fashion innovation), transmedia publishing (webtoons), and audiovisual creation (TV series, VFX, sound design, animation).
A laboratory for collective reflection and action on future challenges
Supported by the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, AFD, Business France, CNC, Bpifrance, and the French Institute, the event provides creators with visibility and recognition, producers and investors with new co-production opportunities, and institutions with a laboratory for collective reflection and action on future challenges.
From October 16 to 18, 2025, two days will be dedicated to professionals and one to the general public. Three days to strengthen creative ecosystems, stimulate collaborations, and amplify the voice of emerging African talents. More than a forum, Creation Africa acts as a catalyst where innovation, synergy, and inspiration give full expression to African imaginaries in the global creative economy.
