On 9 October 2025, Sahara Group launched seven new drilling platforms in Nigeria as part of a major investment to become the country’s leading private oil producer. These platforms will significantly increase national production and strengthen the private sector’s role in the oil economy. The conglomerate also aims to enhance operational safety and sustainability across its assets.
