Nigeria : World Bank approves $500 million to boost digital infrastructure

The World Bank has approved a $500 million loan for Nigeria under the BRIDGE project (Building Resilient Digital Infrastructure for Growth). Led by the Ministry of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy headed by Bosun Tijani, the $1.6 billion program aims to deploy 90,000 km of climate-resilient fiber to extend broadband access to 70% of the population.
