Zimbabwe has signed a $455 million, 15-year concession agreement with Jindal Power Africa, a subsidiary of the Indian group Jindal Steel, to renovate and modernize a key national power plant. The project aims to strengthen the country’s energy capacity, enhance grid reliability, and support industrial development. The partnership includes technology transfer and local job creation, boosting economic growth and improving electricity access for communities.
