On September 11, 2025, GTEK France, a company specialized in advanced IT solutions and artificial intelligence, and the association Intelligence Artificielle Cameroun (IAC) signed a strategic partnership. “According to the press release from GTEK France, this agreement marks a decisive step for the company’s establishment in Central Africa and lays the foundation for close cooperation on sovereign artificial intelligence, training, and the deployment of solutions tailored to local needs.”
The initial two-year partnership focuses on three main areas: the development of local data centers and Green AI infrastructures, skills development through training, mentoring, and knowledge transfer to local talents and institutions, and support for local start-ups through events such as GTEK AcademIA. This initiative aims to position Cameroon as a regional hub for artificial intelligence in Africa.
