Uganda : UDB to host the first Development Finance Summit in September 2025

The Uganda Development Bank (UDB) will host its first Uganda Development Finance Summit on 1–2 September 2025 at the Speke Resort Convention Centre in Kampala. Under the theme “Transforming Africa through National Development Finance Architecture,” the event aims to reshape Africa’s financing strategies amid dwindling aid and costly global debt. As announced on July 24, 2025, over 400 participants are expected to explore sustainable finance, industrial policy, Green Financing and inclusive economic growth through strategic partnerships.
