On July 24, 2025 Nick Barigye has been appointed Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Rwanda, succeeding Dr Justin Nsengiyumva, now Prime Minister. His appointment comes just 11 days after being named CEO of Crystal Ventures Ltd. Barigye previously led Rwanda Finance Limited and held executive roles in CVL, Mount Meru Soyco Ltd. and Karisimbi Business Partners. He holds an MBA in Strategic Management from Strathmore Business School and a BBA in Finance from the National University of Rwanda.
