Vodacom Group announced on July 23 that it had recorded an impressive 11.4% rise in Q1 service revenue, boosted by strong performance in Egypt and growing financial services. Egypt’s local-currency service revenue surged 43.8%, while group-wide normalised growth reached 13.8%, exceeding targets. Vodacom is advancing its goal to derive 30% of revenue from beyond traditional telecom by 2030.
