Uganda and the UAE have signed a $4 billion agreement to build an oil refinery. The project will produce gasoline, diesel, kerosene and 100,000 kg of LPG annually. Construction started in early 2025 and is expected to last three years and will create 15,000 local #jobs and reduce Uganda’s fuel imports by 60%.
