Mauritania : AfDB grants €25.5M to GBM to boost SMEs and women-led businesses

On June 30, 2025, the African Development Bank approved a €25.5 million facility for Mauritania’s GBM to enhance trade finance for corporates, SMEs, and women entrepreneurs. The package includes a credit line, a trade guarantee, and an AFAWA grant. This support will help boost priority sectors, promote inclusive growth, and empower women-led businesses.
