On June 30, Jean-Guy K. Afrika, CEO of Rwanda Development Board, met with Olivier Granet, CEO of Kasada Capital Management, to review the redevelopment of the upcoming Kasada Mövenpick Kigali. With a $34 million investment, the former Umubano hotel is being transformed into a luxury five-star property, set to open in September 2025 and create over 160 permanent jobs.
