Bank Nigeria and BADEA increase their stake in Afriximbank

In a statement released Thursday, January 23, the institution said that existing shareholders, including Nigeria and the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA), have invested securities worth $ 200 million in share classes A, B and C. They also injected $ 300 million in callable capital. This brings the total value of new shares issued by the Bank to $ 500 million in the past year.
