2025 Global Talent Competitiveness Index :  Mauritius tops continental talent competitiveness 

According to the 2025 Global Talent Competitiveness Index by INSEAD and Portulans Institute, Mauritius ranks 49th globally and 1st in Africa, benefiting from a stable economy, favorable investment policies, and skilled workforce. Seychelles follows (50th), then South Africa (79th), Cape Verde (83rd), and Botswana (85th). This ranking highlights Africa’s growing ability to attract and retain talent.
